For those of you that ordered the class photo, I will need an additional $5.00 to cover the cost. The photo is costing more than expected and the River's nite also came in more than was estimated. I apologize for this and hope you all understand. I will not be able to order the prints until the additional funds are received. You can send your check to me at 1713 Bennett, Glenwood Spgs, CO payable to the reunion committee. Thank you and again I apologize. Cheryl

Here is my e-mail for those who are interested in corresponding with me. It was good to see everyone at the reunion and brought back wonderful memeories. I do think my high school years were difficult, but it was the acceptance and encouragement that each and everyone of you gave me that gave me the courage to get my college degree and get on the business of life.
Blessings,
Alice Sample Adams

Cheryl, (and staff)Thank you for putting on a great reunion. We know it was a lot of work, you're awesome.

I thought you all looked great! I really love these things. I think it's wonderful how even those of us that didn't spend a lot of time together during school, (you're parents probably told you to stay away from guys like me,)now after all these years when we get together, we're like family. Like ten years ago when Frank Bianco acted like we were best friends, (I was so mean to him back in school.) Time not only heals but brings us closer together.

If any of you come through Sacramento, please stop by to visit.

I vote for reunions to be every five years from here on out... cuz some of you are getting OLD!
Miss you guys already,
Steve B.

Hello All,

I will not be able to attend this year. There is only one weekend on our calendar available for a boys camping trip and it is the same weekend. My son Ryan a couple of his friends and I will be close. We are going to the flat tops a place I have not been in many years.

As we all know, our lives are too busy. I have been married to Lysa for 18 years. We have two children Ryan age 17 and Anna 11. I have spent most of our summers coaching their baseball, soccer and softball teams. Takes up most of the summer. Ryan will be a Senior at Chatfield Sr. High School. He is 6'3" and 255lbs. Where that comes from is any ones quess. Anna is the brain and has written two books, this must come from her mom.

I still have the 66 yellow jeep which we just got going again for the summer. Ryan loves to drive it as much as I and takes it to football practice every day.

Lysa and I live in the foothills above Chatfield Reservoir. She is still a United Flight Attendant and I still have my financial planning business.

I can remeber driving down the main drag and hearing on the local radio that the cass of 1942 was in town celebrating their 30th reunion. As a 17 year old my first thought was they must be really old people. Well we are there now and I don't know about the rest of you, but my brain says I can still do 20 yr old things, my body reminds me I am 48.

Have fun and tell all hello.
Pete

Hi Class of 1973! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, so yes Bill, my husband & I will be there. Nothing much has changed in the last 10 years, except I'm back in the dental field, leaving the flower business after 8 years. Thanks to you, Trina for the website. And thanks to everyone's work to get this class reunion off the ground. See you in a couple of weeks. For those that won't make, you'll be missed. Lori

Hey Classmates!

Great website Trina, thanks for your efforts, I hope more folks find it and keep it up!

Christine and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in June and have a daughter and a son, 13 and 11 respectively. We continue to be one of those sad oil field stories, vagabods as it were. We have lived near New Orleans for the past 3 years but have also lived in Scotland and Canada since our last class reunion.

I work for Shell Oil, engineering and drilling deepwater oil wells (Corky Lyons-7th grade Algebra, would be shocked!). Chris has a one woman landscape business. Maggie will be in 8th grade and spends a majority of her time on a soccer pitch and playing piano. Ben is in 5th grade and splits his time between soccer and baseball. I try to keep them busy because I have an all too clear memory of my mispent youth! LOL!!! I only hope they have as much fun as we did! They are both much better in school than I was, thank goodness for that! It must be Chris's influence I guess.

Most of my time is dedicated to coaching (Don Miller would also be shocked) soccer and baseball, see paragraph two! I have a 1969 Jeep that I am trying breath life back into, with limited success, I might add (Fritz Gunther would be dissapointed). I sold my 1971 Cuda about a year ago and miss having it around.

I don't think we will be able to make the reunion in August. I am right in the middle of another project, I know, I know how is that different than all of you. Sorry! If we don't make it, have a great time and tip one for me.

Take Care

Hi every one,

I will not be attending this time for we are very busy this summer. I just got married on June 25 of this year to the person that I have been with the last 9 years. We guessed if we could make it that long it should last. My wife's name is Charlene.
We are making rustic furniture and other wooden items and travel over the state of Oregon to Art and Crafts fairs.
During the winter months I am employed by the Aspen Skiing Company, in winter trails Matience at Aspen Highlands.
It seems the older we get the more there is to do, and not enough time to get it all done.
I still have the same home in Oregon that I bought when I was in my early 20's. Once I take up roots I stay there, any way I Love Oregon.

Good luck to all,
John and Charlene Kirkham

Hi you guys! Cheryl Baker Sos has done a great job organizing the reunion! My husband Bruce helped me put this little website together, and since I'm new at this website business, I have to keep it simple.

We moved back to Glenwood six years ago, and it is still a great place to live. We have two kids, one starting high school and one starting middle school in the fall. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in August.

Post a message here and let us know what you're up to. Also, please pass the word about the website and the reunion to other '73 grads and let's try to get a good turnout in August!

Cheers,
Trina
